We woke up to little red hearts with "I love that . . ." posted around the kitchen this morning.
One said, "I love that you're my spouse," and that matches the way my cards from Dad are always addressed. See?
So glad to be married to this planter of trees and lover of skiing and all things outdoors. Grateful that he keeps us prepared for emergencies, makes "Parker Pizza" nights happen for my students, and wears crazy Angry Birds hats.
He's also the master huckleberry picker extraordinaire, camping sometimes two or three nights each August to pick enough berries to last the year. We bring them out of the freezer for occasions such as this. Yum!
